Car (s) 2018 Golf TSI 1.8. Mar 2, 2021. #3. When I did my first tune to Uni stage 1+, @ around 35k km, I started having misfires. That was solved by replacing my coils & plugs for the APR coils, and OEM Golf plugs with a shorter gap. Since then, + Stage 2 IS20 @ around 50k km, no issues at all. Smooth idle and acceleration. Collecting on 1st September: Mk7 Golf Estate SE 1.4TSI 125 Manual in Metallic Night Blue. Options: Car-Net App Connect, Discover Nav, 2Zone Climate, Net Partition, Silver Roof Rails, Park Assist with Front&Rear Park Sensors.

There wasn’t a whole bunch wrong with the Mk7 Golf. And actually, most of the time in the new one we longed for the clarity of the old car’s infotainment. Get yourself a 148bhp TSi with

Car (s) VW Golf Mk7. Jun 7, 2020. #4. Desslok said: The larger the rim diameter, the shorter the tire sidewall (if keeping stock diameter tires) - and rougher the ride will be. 235/45/17 tires will ride much nicer than 235/35/19 tires. The 19s will handle better and the 17s will ride better. There are always compromises. So, If anything does happen in the next year - I'll still have it under warranty. In the meantime I'm pretty happy with the job they did replacing the sensor and camera in the ACC system. All the other sensors in my MK7 work just fine. Its a great car and all the new tech in the MK7 make it a really good car to drive. The 1.4 TSI ACT 150bhp is a cracking engine that is pretty lively and can be very frugal at the same time, especially with cylinder de-activation under light loads. All in all, Mrs Dunc So wifey's '16 GTi SE w/perf pkg (commuter car ), that just logs slow, highway miles just clicked 70k - and dealer quoted the following: replace thermostat housing (just the housing, not pump) - $1710; mount two new tires - $599 (I just had 4 new Michelin SS mounted early 2019); replace brake pads - $1345 (front with rotors, rear just pads); recondition 4 wheels (some inner well dents) - $1,259.
Even the 1.4 tsi can do 0-60 in 8 seconds which isn't amazing but isn't no slouch either. Tl;dr The MK7 looks to be more reliable than the mk6 and comes with more tech and generally better features. The MK6 can be had for much less and is still a great car if you don't care about the new tech. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

What I found first, is that I have misfires counters which increment when I feel little shake of the engine. I counted 15 misfires in about 2 minutes during my test at cold start. Here are the actual values of misfires counters: - Misfires cylinder 1: 1252. - Misfires cylinder 3: 1118. - Misfires cylinder 4: 1650. - Misfires cylinder 2: 941. Thanks a lot whaglfa and Diggs24. In meantime checked in other Octavia 3 1.4 TSI 150 PS CZDA MY2017 (the same engine as mine but year younger). Lower stop is at 3250 mV, upper is at 400 mV more or less.

"Try adapting (also called basic reset) the clutch and see if it fixes your problem. Turn the car off, turn the key to II right before ignition, hold the throttle pedal down to the "button" for 20 seconds, release, turn the car all the way off (DO NOT REMOVE KEY) then back to II, then off again and then start the car.
